Mark Girodano scored a shorthanded goal for the second straight game for Calgary.

Matthew Tkachuk scored in the third period in Minnesota to lift the Flames past the Wild, giving them their seventh win in their last eight games.

Ottawa Senators v Montreal Canadiens

Montreal scored four unanswered goals leading them to an easy 5-2 victory over Ottawa.

The win is also head coach Claude Julien’s 600th career win, across three different teams.

Toronto Maple Leafs v Florida Panthers

In a game that saw Mitch Marner‘s mother floss whilst on the mom’s trip, Aleksander Barkov scored a hat trick to boost the Panthers to an overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Detroit Red Wings v New York Islanders

Mathew Barzal got a goal and an assist, as well as a conversion in the shootout to help the Islanders topple the Red Wings.

Sid Crosby had his 20th assist of the season setting up Bryan Rust for the Pens’ second.

Anaheim Ducks v Columbus Blue Jackets

Daniel Sprong scored twice, whilst John Gibson made 36 saves for Anaheim to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets, giving the Ducks their eighth victory in nine games.

New Jersey Devils v Nashville Predators

Brian Boyle sent the game to overtime with an equalizer for the Devils 90 seconds from time.

Ryan Johansen scored the winning penalty shot to lift the Nashville Predators to victory over New Jersey at the Bridgestone Arena.

Dallas Stars v Colorado Avalanche

4-6 

The Dallas Stars rallied in the third with Tyler Seguin scoring his second of the night and getting an assist on Jamie Benn‘s goal and the Stars’ fourth of the game to level things.

Unfortunately for Dallas they came up short after a late goal from Gabriel Landeskog and an empty-netter from Nathan MacKinnon sealed their fate.

Philadelphia Flyers v Vancouver Canucks 

1-5

The Canucks got on the scoreboard early and never looked back. Going into the first intermission they held a 3-1 lead. Brock Boeser and Markus Granlund scored in the final two periods to secure the win for Vancouver and hand the Flyers their 19th defeat of the season.
