Calvin de Haan earned himself 2nd start of the game, having got two assists, whilst Warren Foegele scored, getting his first point in 25 games, celebrating with the ‘monkey off his back’ celebration. Andrei Svechnikov and Sebastian Aho also scored, securing the win for the Canes.

Matthew Tkachuk and Mark Giordano each had a goal and an assist for Calgary, who have won eight of their last nine games and have allowed just two or fewer foals in nine of their last 12.

Jeff Skinner‘s late goal lifted the Sabres past the Bruins at TD Gardens. The 26-year-old scored twice, including the tie breaking third goal late in the third period.
Jack Eichel had two goals and two assists for Buffalo, Sam Reinhart had three assists, whilst Linus Ullmark made 35 saves.

San Jose scored five unanswered goals to trample the Blackhawks 7-3. Melker Karlsson, Evander Kane, Kevin Labanc and Tomas Hertl each got a goal and an assist for the Sharks

The Jets won their fifth consecutive game and ended Tampa Bay’s eight-game winning streak when Mark Scheifele (1g, 2a) scored with 42 seconds left in overtime for a 5-4 victory at Bell MTS Place. It was the forward’s third overtime winner in his past nine games, the Jets have won their third straight game in overtime.
