Carolina Hurricanes v New Jersey Devils

The Carolina Hurricanes saw their three-game winning streak end as the New Jersey Devils beat the 3-2, to end their three-game losing streak.
Marcus Johansson scored twice and Pavel Zacha netted the other, Nico Hischier had three assists and Keith Kinkaid made 32 saves for the Devils.
Dougie Hamilton and Teuvo Teravainen scored, and Petr Mrzaek made 18 saves for Carolina, who went 1-for-5 on the power play.

St Louis Blues v Nashville Predators

Vladimir Tarasenko completed his hat trick 16 seconds into overtime to lift the St Louis Blues to a 5-4 victory over the Nashville Predators. The win sees them match their longest winning streak since winning six in a row in March 2018.
Alex Pietrangelo and Tyler Bozak also scored for St Louis. Jay Bouwmeester and Ryan O’Reilly each had two assists and Jake Allen made 40 saves in his first start since Jan. 17 for the Blues, who are 10-2-1 in their past 13.
Viktor Arvidsson scored twice, Roman Josi had a goal and an assist, Filip Forsberg scored the equalizer to send the game to overtime, Ryan Ellis and Ryan Johansen each had two assists, and Juuse Saros made 24 saves for the Preds, who have lost three in five.

Cam Ward made 43 saves to help the Chicago Blackhawks to their seventh successive victory.
Chicago, who lost five straight before this streak, last won seven in a row from Feb. 19 – March. 4, 2017. In this win streak they have outscored their opponents 37-20.
Patrick Kane extended his point streak to 14 games with a goal and an assist. He has 31pts (11g, 20a) in the streak and 44pts (18g, 26a) in his last 22 games.
Dominik Kahun scored twice and assisted another, Dylan Strome scored one, assisted one, Jonathan Toews scored an empty-netter and Alex DeBrincat had three assists for the hosts.
Christoffer Ehn and Gustav Nyquist scored for the Red Wings and Jonathan Bernier made 31 saves.

The Colorado Avalanche lost their seven game in a row after Brad Marchand scored with 57 seconds left in overtime to give the Boston Bruins a 2-1 win.
Marchand had the assist on the game-tying goal from John Moore and Jaroslav Halak made 35 saves for Boston, who extended their point streak to seven. They were winless in their past 12 home games against the Avs.
Nathan MacKinnon scored and Semyon Varlamov made 33 saves for Colorado, whose last three losses have come in overtime. They are 1-10 in games decided in overtime this season.

The Winnipeg Jets ended a three-game losing streaking with a 3-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres.
Andrew Copp scored, Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele scored one and assisted another, and Connor Hellebuyck made 35 saves for the Jets.
Jack Eichel scored and Carter Hutton made 26 saves for Buffalo in his first start since Feb. 1.
The Sabres, failed for the eighth straight time to win consecutive games and haven’t won two in a row since mid-December 2018.

Thomas Greiss made 26 saves for the New York Islanders, as they won their third in a row.
Anthony Beauvillier and Devon Toews scored for New York, who are 9-1-2 since Jan. 13 and have a five-point lead at the top of the Metropolitan Division for the first time since February 19th, 2015.
Mikael Granlund scored and Devan Dubnyk made 32 saves for Minnesota, who have won just once in their last six games.

Tampa Bay Lightning v Florida Panthers

Nikita Kucherov ended a 10-game goal drought as the Tampa Bay Lightning completed a season sweep of the Florida Panthers in a 5-2 victory.
Kucherov had two goals and an assist, taking his season assists tally to 60. Steven Stamkos, Ryan Callahan and Brayden Point also scored for Tampa and Louis Domingue made 25 saves, winning his 10th game straight. Anton Stralman had two assists.
Frank Vatran and Denis Malgin scored for Florida and Roberto Luongo passed Patrick Roy to take second place on the NHL’s all-time list for games played by a goalie (1,030). He allowed two goals on 11 shots in the third period after relieving Panthers starter James Reimer.

Toronto Maple Leafs v New York Rangers

Alexander Georgiev made an NHL career-high 55 saves on his 23rd birthday as the New York Rangers defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1. His previous career-high was 43 saves in March 2018.
Mike Zibanejad, Jimmy Vesey, Adam McQuaid and Kevin Hayes scored, Chris Kreider and Mats Zuccarello each had two assists for the Rangers, who went 2-2-1 on its season-long five-game homestand.
Kasperi Kapanen scored and Garret Sparks made 26 saves for Toronto, who had a season-high 56 shots on goal but couldn’t extend their four-game winning streak and six-game point streak (5-0-1).
It was the Leafs’ first regulation loss since January 20th.
