The Dallas Stars had the chance to win their Stanley Cup Playoffs Second Round series on home ice, but St Louis had other ideas, they weren’t done with their postseason dreams just yet.
With a 4-1 victory the visitors have taken the series to Game 7, where they’ll be the one with home ice advantage.
Jaden Schwartz and Sammy Blais scored 33 seconds apart in the third period, lifting the Blues to a 4-1 victory over the Stars in their Game 6 affair, tying the series 3-3.

Blais, who was playing in his first NHL playoff game, made it 4-1 at 8:10 of the third period, scoring his first postseason goal with a slap shot from the left circle.
Alex Pietrangelo and David Perron also scored, and Jordan Binnington made 22 saves for the Blues, who are 5-1 on the road in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Tyler Seguin tied the game 1-1 with a power play goal at 11:35 of the first period for the Stars, and Ben Bishop allowed four goals on 20 shots for Dallas before leaving in the third period. Anton Khudobin made five saves in relief.

Dallas fans were furious when Schwartz‘s goal was allowed; just before the goal Bishop went down in pain after making a high save on a slap shot from Colton Parayko, but play was allowed to go on, St. Louis kept possession of the puck and Schwartz scored his eighth of the postseason into an open net for the visitors’ third of the afternoon.
Game 7 is set for Tuesday in St. Louis, with the winner playing that of the Colorado Avalanche v San Jose Sharks series in the Western Conference Final.
