Monday night saw just two NHL games played, with one going into overtime – The Toronto Maple Leafs hosted the St. Louis Blues, and the Buffalo Sabres travelled to Columbus.
St. Louis Blues v Toronto Maple Leafs

Alex Pietrangelo got his 400th NHL point as the St. Louis Blues won their seventh consecutive game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, 3-2 at Scotiabank Arena.
The defenseman reach the milestone at 7:51 of the third period after he took a cross-crease pass from David Perron and put a shot past Frederik Andersen to break the tie.
Oskar Sundqvist and Brayden Schenn also scored, and Jordan Binnington made 32 saves for the visitors, who have opened the season with a three-game point streak (2-0-1).
Frederik Gauthier and William Nylander scored and Frederik Andersen made 26 saves for the hosts (2-1-1), who haven’t beat the Blues since January 2, 2016.

Alex Texier scored at 2:08 of overtime to give the Columbus Blue Jackets their first win of the season.
Oliver Bjorkstrand, playing his 200th NHL game, and Nick Foligno each had a goal and an assist, Cam Atkinson also scored, and Joonas Korpisalo made 15 saves for Columbus, who lost their first two games of the season.
Marcus Johansson, Jeff Skinner and Victor Olofsson all scored for the visitors, and Linus Ullmark made 40 saves in this first start of the season for Buffalo, who were trying to start 3-0-0 for the first time since 2008/09.
